    Went up to Tesco a little while ago, for some BBQ food for tomorrow. Snatched some decent looking gourmet sausages, load of burgers, some lamb steaks, chicken drumsticks that'll go in a marinade tonight and the obligatory case of brewdog punk.

    How delightful to see the rain beginning to fall outside as I type this <doh>

    That Brewdog Punk IPA is pretty good stuff.
    Hopefully BBQING on Sunday. Deffo doing some lamb steaks.

    Having friends round and doing the BBQ thing.

    Don't slow cooked ribs from scratch on there should be interesting.

    Looking forward to doing the ribs, they are in a dry rub at the moment, smoked paprika, white and black pepper and nutmeg, layer of English mustard later and then on it goes for 40 mins, then it's add a sweet chilli sauce, 40 mins in foil then more sauce and back on the grill for 30 mins.

    I have to half the coals so that one side of the BBQ has no coals the ribs go there, then it's a container of water on the coals side and some cherry wood on the coals and lid on.

    The slow cooked ribs worked to a point but needed a higher heat, they were nice but need improving, going to try it again soon.
