Looks half decent. Quick feet, comfortable on the ball.

Ejaria looks good because he's a midfielder who doesn't treat the ball like a hot potato - something we're not used to.

Put Can and Gini in the midfield and we finally start to have a midfield that is capable of retaining and running with the ball.

No more Milner, Lucas or Hendo ...

I agree on ejaria. he's a lot to learn there but he is showing that the others are utter tosh.

Stewart FFS... might as well have me. he's a poor mans scott parker and thats saying something

I personally however don't want CMs running with the ball. the ball always moves faster with a pass. i want people who are positive and look for that forward pass option first. and thats what klopp is all about.

looks as expected. he's going to give a lot of frees away and get a lot of cards.

I do think he looks a bit of a guy who wants to play on the front foot so him and lovern? not sure.

he showed the klopp drills made sense to him anyway cos he was looking for the options that klopp wants. long diagonal is being drilled into team constantly.

Did you watch it? He seems composed and reads the game well other than putting in rash challenges, he keeps the distance well between himself and the opposition so that he can cut balls out other than always challenging. His passing was mixed, simple at times but long and accurate when he had time on the ball.

yeah his reading looked ok. thats the point about him and lovern. both want to so the same thing so one has to be the guy reading his partner and covering....

As i said he looks to slap into the back of guys so i think he'll pick up quite a few cards... like skertl did.

my point on his passing was that he looks to have listened in klopps training drills where those exact passes are being practiced over and over and over and over... nothing wrong with stating thta is there? seems a positive thing to me?

I just thought he mixed it up and just disagree with the pressing and smashing in the back of people label, he seemed to know when to do that and when to drop off whereas Lovren has no brain just like Skrtel and attacks everything. His passing was the same, he didn't hit the diagonal all the time he knew to keep it simple under pressure and when he had time to hit it long.

The best thing about these individual vids of players is trying to make sense of two or three seconds of commentary.

It's the drills. They are working on that player making that run and that pass being made, that's all.

My point is we should be seeing this kind of shape and Klavan fits in.

But I will stand by my claim. He's going to get lots and lots of cards.
