Yup. Its very basic. If soneone invests in you and you take them up on it for 3/4 years you really should not be switching cos your agent thinks itll be better for you.

 

But why? He wouldn't have played for Wales at the Euro's, you guys can do better than having to call up a League 2 player.

 

They might've been part of the squad (Turner at least).

I know its hard to look at this Wales squad now and wonder why we would need Ben Turner but at the time we were really struggling with depth and were often playing Darcy Blake or Sam Ricketts (both full backs) at centre back because we had none that were above league 2 level. Even now our depth is pretty poor but we have a decently strong first XI.

My issue with Jones is more that we are a small nation with a limited budget, we cannot afford to invest money in the youth system only for all the players to use us as experience then **** off if they are above average and England come calling. Years of coaching, travel, accomodation etc. have been put into Lloyd Jones and then he turns round and says "Oh thanks but I'm going to play for England now, bye"

Not seen any of pre-season games bar the goals from the 1st game. Really had hope that Markovic would knuckle down and put in a few good performances to show a glimmer of what he can do. By all accounts he didn't have a brilliant time in Turkey but he did show glimpses of what he can do under Rodgers here 2 seasons ago.

Remains to be seen, but get the feeling would be happy to take £10m for him if someone came in and offered that

 

Quite common for players to be good but a prick tbh
