did we not think we could develop him then ? seems to not be a very confident way of thinking. Not disputing selling him but isn't Klopp supposedly a good motivator, why would Ibe slump so badly as to end up selling him under this manager ? Just seen Ibe's statement where he says he likes Bournemouth because they play like Rodgers set us up to play. Doesn't mention Klopp at all, maybe they didn't get on / see eye to eye ?

 

Guess that's what I'm trying to reason, he looked like he would be a big player for us and got worse. Funny that's him and Sterling both gone, one to a middling Bournemouth and t'other as a second string player at a big club, who in the recent past were seen as the future of the club and potential big stars

 

I dont really care. What i saw was a guy who wanted to hang round out wide all the time
A guy who ran the ball and ran it until he got easily tackled and just would not release it

Ibe didnt show the same game awareness that other players do and so in the end cash in.

 

Ojo showed more quality and desire than Ibe in his few appearances at the end of last season

Markovic is distntictly average. He looks good running with the ball but not much else.
