Poppies are for all war dead, even the monobrowed mongs across the sea that supported Hitler during WW2 and other enemies. Even the I Ran Away could come under this, if they asked nicely enough. The Green Tooth Brigade's failure to realise this is laughable. Its a way to honour the fallen who have faught for their nation's political interests. I dont agree with the wars we fight at the moment, but I'll happily honour the men who have been sent to fight and lost their lives. What else makes me laugh is, Dr John Reid the war criminal, had an influencial role in approving the deaths of thousands of Afghans and Iraqis. Remind me, what club is he chairman of again? Anyway, Ireland with their desperately ****ed economy are coming crawling cap in hand to Britain hoping to be allowed in Imagine the mind **** that would give the tims?
**** me Frank I don't even know where to start. Poppy money goes to ex-servicemen clubs etc - it's not about the dead of the great wars, there are only about 100 survivors left. The Green Brigade protested against Reid's employement with the club. I personally believe he should be tried for staging an illegal war. Ireland's economy in all it's plight is still much stronger than Scotland's, who in my opinion would benefit massively from going solo as it already has just from having it's own regional government.
