How about that thing called a contract. If you can't find any quotes saying they want to leave then the contracts they signed say they stay.
But Clichy and Nasri will soon be into Bosman territory. Are you actually a Gooner? Why is it that I seem to know more about your team than you do?
They still have a year left. Clichy will be sold to Liverpool which is fine as he is useless. Nasri will be back from France to talk to Arsenal again and see what they offer. If he rejects the new offer then he will be sold on the cheap to any clubs in Europe. Wenger has ruled out any move to United already.
This is a **** article, written by a **** for brains wum. The same wum who at the paper talk about Modric and Bale leaving - and then laps it up like a bitch when the same rags post BS about Arsenal players
he can say nasri won't go to United,by the same Token Wenger can't sell him on the cheap to Europe if the players decides not to go and sit out his contract
I don't think the goons will lose all of them. Paper talk has every club selling 10 players and signing 20. Fabregas to Barcelona could happen though, I think Barcelona comingout and saying they 'only' have £40million to spend all summer is to drive the Fabregas price down.
The problem is SSN8 is that if Nasri decides he wants to go to Man Utd there isn't a lot you lot can do unless you want to see him rot in the reserves next season and join them on a free. With Berbatov in 2008 I got the feeling Levy wanted him to go anywhere but Untied but the player had his heart set on the move and there was nothing we could do - and he had 2 years left on his contract.
Responding to Michigan only encourages him in his persistent delusion that he is welcome on the Spurs board It is useless to try and discuss anything with him
What barbed comments from Modric? I have seen no such comments. He has persistently explained that he is happy playing for Spurs. All he has said (obviously in reply to a leading question) is that if, at some time in the future, he was sold, then so be it. Moddy is quite a laid back bloke, he isn't going to say anything shirty. None of us having any illusions that he will leave at some point in time.
According to The Daily Star, this is what Moddy said: 'I'm a Tottenham player and will be in London on July 7 to begin preparing for the season, but I want to say that transfers could occur later. If my situation changes after the start of preparation it would not be a problem. In England it is often the case they happen on the last day of the transfer period, August 31, so it is pointless to worry about anything now.' Where, in any of that, is a "barbed" comment? All it amounts to is Moddy say that he's a Spurs player, but if things change, so what? He's not saying that he wants to leave, only that if we were to be sold, he'd be happy with that. That's football. This is not the same situation as we see unfolding over at Arsenal, where Fabregas has stated, many times, that he wants to leave for Barca, and where two players (Bendtner and Denilson) have said they want to leave, and two others (Clichy and Nasri) are stalling on signing new contracts because they want to move to other clubs.
Modric has said several times in the last year he is happy at Spurs, and even the latest supposed statement does not say he wants to leave Yet this is ignored by the media You have to ask why they would do that
Assuming that he actually made the statement, it says that he would consider a move if Tottenham accepted a bid And Modric has not been making statements about his future on a daily basis for the last few months as the press have
I won't There is not a scrap of evidence from the club or Modric that they want to sell or leave Just pathetic media gossip
