Bloody hell! That's too much - good on you for using as much as you can. I try not to peel anything - just get the mud and crap off and in the water, oven, etc they go ............ Don't think it's done me any harm!
http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/201...riday_n_8519624.html?1447155978&utm_hp_ref=uk GOOD! Why the **** do we have "Black Friday" anyway? It's a US tradition based on the day after Thanksgiving! We are getting far to "Merkanised" over here I reckon!!
I would sooner do without than go to a sale....absolutely hate crowds and the shoving. If I go to the shops on another day and happen to find something on sale, that is entirely different. Just keep saying to yourself...I don't need it, I don't need it. If you didn't like something enough to buy it at full price, you don't like it enough. Ps.Make an exception for kids clothes. Can understand people struggling to keep those little blighters clothed...they keep growing!!!
The TV had only been reduced by £80 and they were prepared to act like that. What would they do if it was really a bargain
We have found that where meat is concerned , we probably pay a little more for a little less , but the taste & quality ( sausages for instance & bacon do not shrink at all , or very little ) makes it worth while .
Yup, #teamsingle here too. Only thing I don't have, that I'd like, is a kid. Hence why I have a surrogate child in Fable! I wouldn't be against a relationship as such, but perfectly happy (and ingrained) on my own!
I'd like to be a real friend here LTL. I could consider helping you with that missing kid thing, by allowing you to come and baby sit my kids while I take the wife out. I won't even charge you. We'll go out at about 7pm and be home by 10pm ....... three days later no, don't thank me. It's ok.
Terrific comment on "The Food Programme" on R4 several years ago has always stuck with me. Someone was discussing quality ingredients and said "Why should food be cheap? It's the most important thing we do every day." It made a big impression on me and we upped our spend on ingredients significantly. Vin
I have got rid of sky sports ever since I was given a free app, I now watch on my iPad for free This also includes Bein sports which normally shows saints games.
Yes, i also like the quote from George Bernard Shaw- "There is no love more sincere than the love of food." I suppose the point I was making wasn't associating Sky and bangers, except in the case where someone sacrifices the quality of the latter in order to afford the former.
