    Haas.

I'd be surprised. I think they'll put Alex Rossi in one of the cars. In the other? Not sure - if it's Danica it'll be a bit of a marketing stunt.

More funding can't hurt, and you never know, she might be able to step up.

She's a decent driver, but I wouldn't expect too much from the car, and decent isn't enough to really make an impression in F1. Money will talk, although as I say, I'd be surprised if she's in the second seat.

Don't know if any of you lot are Bournemouth based, but Fable has a free show at 60 Million Postcards on Thursday night if anyone is about. I'm sure Chilcs will recommend going to see her live!

Weil's is horrid . We used to have to carry cards saying that if we had a fever etc , we worked in areas that may contain the virus ( rat's pee worked in man holes as an engineer ) . . Worst thing is it feels just like a heavy cold to start with .

Definitely! Worth a trip to Bournemouth if you're within a couple of hours drive. If I wasn't doing my Open Mic night tomorrow I'd think about going myself!

Interesting aircraft just went over my house...plane/helicopter hybrid. Started off with its two rotors acting like a helicopter and then after gaining height these switched to forward propellers. Army are on manoeuvres on the Island over next few days. Probably explains an aircraft which made my house shake last night.

Interesting. On the one hand, she's been acquitted, so it's perfectly OK for her to be taken back on.

On the other hand, it's becoming more and more clear to me that Murdoch really does think that he's above british public opinion (possibly because he controls so much of it). I keep thinking that one day he'll come unstuck but the bloke's teflon coated.

He's on of the (many) reasons that Sky don't get a penny of mine. I wouldn't spit in his face if it was on fire.

In another typically off topic subject I am in a bar in Dubai watching three Emirati play Monopoly - its brilliant to watch - they buy everything they can when they land onto a street and use their Samsung phones to argue every move to ensure their moves are in accordance with the rule - every role of the dice and each movement of their counters around the board results in a major dispute!! :emoticon-0100-smile

    Only Dubai...

Oh, real cash? That's a bit different. Also, they're sober.

Can anyone clear up the rule of being in jail, can you still get paid rent?

That will be a US Military Aircraft. The British Aircraft industry pursued the theory and practice of horizontal to forward facing props back in the 50-60s, but once the Bristol Pegasus vectored thrust jet engine was developed all the enthusiasm seemed to die away. Anyway, here's the USA military plane I suggested:
