There is a team that represents Southamptons FC, even if their is no formal connection between the two. Likewise there is no formal connection between Portsmouth and Portsmouth Ladies
And what a great benefit that is! Hope you have a great time. I'm guessing it will be along the lines of 'remember that night' where he did solo and Pink Floyd stuff.
Bloody hell , Jenson and his wife were gassed and then robbed whilst on holiday in France.... Including her £250,000 engagement ring. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/mo...-and-his-wife-gassed-by-raiders-at-villa.html
They must be so shocked....they were not hurt, but the thought that you were helpless and could have been must be truly terrifying. I know someone who wasn't even in the house when they were burgled, but they still had to sell up as the woman couldn't stay there anymore. Destroys your natural feeling of invincibility. My heart goes out to them.
Sometimes I just hate what some people feel they can do. Anyone wanting to throw a 'desperation' humanity angle at me, don't bother.
My house was burgled 5 years or so ago and although the burglar didn't make a mess of the house we still felt completely violated for ages afterwards. This is the worst aspect of theft, people have a right to feel safe in their own home. We later learnt that the burglar, when caught, told a tale that he had been made redundant from his job and didn't want his wife to know. He asked for 91 similar offences to be taken into consideration! I can't bring myself to feel any pity for him at all, the vast majority of people who lose their jobs don't turn to crime.
To be fair, Seashell is an original song and they're not all about covers, they sing their own original material too. And what about Blackmore's Night? I don't think their sound is particularly mainstream: [video] [video]
Blimey, I hadn't realised that's Ritchie Blackmore of Deep Purple's new project. Kinda speechless....
I'd strongly suggest not researching further like I just did, and listening to their cover of Moonlight Shadow....
My oh my. Take a soft-rock classic and remove all emotion and substance from it, leaving practically nothing but a bad taste in the mouth. Garbage.
That's it, I'm convinced. Pomps is just one massive troll. No way can anyone like Pompey, that music and have that many girl problems. Or maybe, it all explains the latter quite nicely...
I'm genuinely interested in what makes you feel that it's a good song? Is it the lyrics you like? The medieval sound? The fact it sounds like a rejected Disney song from a cartoon?
