Blimey, one of the 'hopeful' emails I sent out last night has already had a reply from someone in charge of a national paper's office saying he'll sort me something out. That went well. Let's just hope he does!
Saw Dark Side of the Moon mentioned a few pages back, one of my favourite albums to listen to on a regular basis, from the brilliance of Time to the absurdity of Brain Damage. Gilmour is one of those guitarists that amazes me as he isn't the greatest technically, but his tone is instantly recognisable. You don't just have to sing to create emotion in a song, the solo on Comfortably Numb from The Wall is testament to that in my opinion.
Very true. The way the time signature changes on Money just as the guitar solo cuts in just draws you in and takes your breath away. And it's been working every time I hear it for the last 40+ years as well!

I'm very jealous of you! Is that the tour that includes the Royal Albert Hall? If so I think I saw the tickets go up but it was out of my price range! I'm seeing Steven Wilson there though in September so I'm looking forward to that, I'd recommend listening to some of his solo stuff for anyone into their prog rock.
It is indeed. One of the very few benefits of being in the industry is the tickets tbh! I know Guy who is playing bass with him very well fortunately or I'd never be able to afford it!
Not every woman wants to show cleavage. I know I wouldn't. If you do then fair enough, but the fact that this is the only option would suggest it's nothing to do with giving women that choice but more an excuse to make them (even more) of a sexual object so they can be leered at by a bunch of dirty old men. Sepp Blatter would be proud. But hey, that's the kind of misogynistic attitude I'd expect from a club who doesn't even have a senior women's team
