I've only read the brief precis at the start, but it seems a fairly appalling idea.

 

I assume they'll still be able to make emergency calls as well, otherwise that could lead to some bad **** going down.

If I were a parent I would not be using that app. I think it's an indication that you've failed as a parent if you're resorting to that.

 

That app is purely for helicopters.

 

On a different note, Tim Vine has won 'Joke of the Year' at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2014.
