So sorry to hear that Clem. I went to the funeral of a friend last week who took his own life. It really is a cauldron of conflicting emotions.

Sorry to hear about your friend Laces. My mate was close to commiting suicide a few years back. It's sad how people with mental health issues are let down by the government etc,it is still very much looked down upon by a lot of people.

England v New Zealand, the first test, starts in just over an hour. Rather torn on this one. The way England have played their cricket in the last 18 months or so has been shocking and their treatment of Peter Moores and KP was shocking. New Zealand are a very exciting team who play exciting cricket. I'm obviously English, but I think I want the Kiwis to win for the good of English cricket in the long term.

The treatment of Moores was poor.

And Lyth's debut innings is short and not so sweet. Caught behind off Southee for 7.

And another one bites the dust - Ballance edges Boult to 3rd slip. 25/2 - oh dear.

If only we had a player coming in now that has the tendency to grab a game by the scruff of the neck and destroy the bowlers confidence...

I might have to go and turn it on in a minute. Did Strauss bring his bat? Who have we got in the commentary box that could have a knock.

You can pay consultants thousands to take months to get to the Root. England Cricket gets there in an hour.

Always seems to be the case that when they lose that first wicket, we just collapse.

Moeen Ali, who was meant to be number 6, was still in the nets when Bell was dismissed so Stokes had to come in ahead of him!
