Respect for caring about your brother + your Mum for looking after him through this period of his life. It is a dreadful plight to get into. Had a similar situation with one of my sons, over a gf mainly, and it was such a difficult thing to get to grips with on all levels. My lad is fine now so i really hope that what you are doing with your brother works out well too. Nice too to hear something positive about Ramadan !

That is one of the most appalling things I have read in all my years engaging and witnessing political debates. I cannot believe that someone would be so awful towards another.

    Bloody awful.

I have a healthy level of contempt for Bible thumpers but this looks more like the work of some troll pretending to a zealot.

That's not a political debate, it is the comment of an ignoramus.

Oh I absolutely agree, but it is within the realm of the political debate over same-sex marriage in Ireland.

Still quite staggered how appalling that is.

Get the feeling I'm going to need the Bank Holiday this weekend.

Spending Thursday at Roots Hall ahead of the Wembley final, as well as speaking to Phil Brown for a university assignment. Then Friday sends me to Crystal Palace's training ground to speak to Alan Pardew for the Sunday papers, before covering Southend at Wembley on the Saturday.

All sounds like good fun to me, though! (minus the trains)

Sounds great. Be sure to ask Pardew about why he left Saints.

Well done looking after him James. I lost my brother to suicide about ten years ago, and there's not a day goes buy where I don't wonder if I could have done more to help him.

I have already dared him, but he is having none of it. Go one DTLW - be the first truly ballsy journalist and you'll be forever remembered as the journo that asked the questions the fans always wanted to hear....

... and possibly the one with the shortest career

That's sad Clem. I sometimes forget how other people have things tough at times. Reading things like this really do bring on some humility.

Also in weird news, Bin Laden was a 9/11 conspiracy theorist, which really makes no ****ing sense whatsoever.

Makes sense to me....Muslims feel they should be ruling the world if they do what Allah wants them to do and the reason they are not is that America is the Great Satan. Bin Laden would be looking for a conspiracy by the west to keep power to themselves.
