Best part of the whole thing is watching all the butthurt casual fans online who thought this would be some some grand spectacle and not a typical Mayweather fight.
Its a satire site called 'the onion' and thats their specialty. They make fake news seem plausible with a high production value. They're absolutely brilliant and sometimes people/corporations/governments react to their bullshit and its even better. This story in particular pissed people off sooo much Edit: Might as well add my favorite vid of theirs. This had me in tears of laughter first time i saw it.
How telling was that last video about being tried as a black man. I think American justice stinks, but none of us is immune from prejudice. And I don't mean that in a totally derogatory way...we base our opinions and decisions on what we have seen or what has happened to us...this is a survival instinct. In court you are supposed to put that out of your mind, but it is very hard to do.
You're not wrong although i wonder if you've maybe missed the anecdote and taken the general concept of the video a little too seriously fran. Are you German by any chance?
yup, on a free stream. I'll also freely admit to placing a tenner on pac-man in the hope that he would land a lucky hook but i always expected this match to be a massive letdown. Mayweather is a great boring fighter and i would never get excited for one of his fights. Boxing has been a dying sport for some time now and floyd (or Wladimir) is not the man to save it from obscurity.
I think Mayweather changed the way he fought last night. He did a hell of a lot of grabbing when Pac looked like doing combos. I haven't seen him do that before. The amount of time he also pranced around the ring was a little different the usual as well. Yes Mayweather had it spot on and is great technically. But as you say damn it is boring. He has vacated all his belts now so looks like it could be random bum fighters until he retires.
