Don't get me wrong, I had a happy childhood. You can't miss what very few have. I was lucky enough to grow up in a feel good time (never even noticed the austerity that apparently happened at that time) and went to Grammar School and Uni with full grants (otherwise my parents would have really struggled). The sixties were a time of fun and hope. By the time I finished Uni though, jobs were hard to come by...there was graduate unemployment in the early seventies (just like now), but luckily my husband and I both got a job. Our first holiday abroad was to Italy when I was 25...loved it.
Was just browsing the local news website, story about a bus crash in Thailand. There was a photo of some locals looking on and i spotted this guy with a saints shirt on. Makes a change from the usual Manure, Liverpool shirts we normally see over here.
I was chilling last night after MOTD. When I noticed my phone flashing with a call. I didn't recognise the number, but thought it could have been a mates new number. So I answered the call, only to hear some random girl talking dirty (I mean the sex kind ha). She was way into it saying what she wanted to do and obviously 'busy' as well. Having a gf I hung up then txted the random to say she had the wrong number. But her reply was a pic of her tits. It was kind of messed up.
As a lad we went to Wales, the Lake District and Cornwall. Later as a teenager we went to France, but my Dad said there were too many French there.

I wonder why this story is not well known, I knew about the 1944 bomb planted at Hitler's military headquarters by Claus von Stauffenberg but this assasination attempt was even more daring and history could've been entirely different had it been successful. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-32160816
