In other news, here's a new interview with Fable if you're bored n' all that - http://www.famemagazine.co.uk/2015/02/09/fable-qa-raw-and-visceral/ I honestly think the next song, even PL will like!
[QUOTE="Onionman, post: 7593703, member: 1019684" Fake it for long enough and it becomes natural. Vin[/QUOTE] ... And when you get down to the action bit, pray really hard that the young lady in question has read Onionman's advice as well
Just remembered the name of the song all this talk of confidence and going out with someone has reminded me of: There you go, PL. Good advice..!
Eventually. We would need to find a decent support slot down there for her as we don't (yet) have the fanbase to just throw a random gig in. We're about 3 songs ahead of this now in terms of "the plan" and part of that is to build fanbase through press recognition. We'll get there!
Had the send-off/memorial for our mate who passed away last week, today. Although he was from Wales, his family attended as did around 200 students (there are only 300 of us at this campus). Was tastefully done, flowers and momentos put down in the centre of the student housing gardens, before walking up to Beachy Head as a group with the family leading, before letting off 100 Chinese lanterns. Thought it looked quite impressive, and what a view you get from up there, too.
None of this happened in the dramatisation of "Cilla" on TV, LTL. I'm thinking you must be a bit of an "our Bobby" type character
http://www.thefa.com//news/england/...ce-says-england-u17s-boss-john-peacock-100215 Ahead of u17s Algarve tournament, Josh Sims listed by FA as an example of someone who has used England U17s to progress.
Sorry Fats, I went nowhere near that programme so the references are lost on me! It was however rather different back in Cilla's day!
Obviously when I say "build fanbase through press recognition" I mean that in combination with gigs, but it's a chicken and egg one with that. Can't go out playing gigs to nobody (which would be the case at this stage in Bristol). Concentrating on festivals this summer.
Got any lined up yet? Or any particular ones in mind? I've got tickets for Glastonbury and the new one in Southampton, Common People Festival.
We've got three booked up, waiting on another five or so, but not allowed to announce any of them yet (although one of them is in Hampshire...)
