Can't claim to be happy about it, but It's not our job to police the World.

Also, what are you going to bomb? Isis will be holed up in schools and hospitals. I'm sure you were one of the first to criticise Israel when they bomb civilians.

With great power comes great responsibility. We may be responsible for civilian deaths when we intervene but we can also be responsible for civilian deaths if we could have protected them and chose not to.

We ****ed up Iraq, we have a duty to do something about it.

Exactly. To paraphrase Bertrand Russell "All it takes for evil to succede is for good men to do nothing"

Iraq's a lot less heavily built up than Gaza, and isis have been a fairly mobile force, relying on rapid advances rather than holing themselves up in buildings. That just doesn't seem to be their strategy, but it certainly makes them vulnerable to air attack.

    OK, I chuckled. :)

Presumably, if you eventually find Mayfair then you're in god's country..?

Their best album [Joshua Tree] in my opinion [I have a couple from back then - Unforgettable Fire being the other], but I can't say their music has worn that well. The Edge's [pretentious name or what..?] guitar licks are far too predictable for my liking. Just my opinon, of course.
