A photon checks into a hotel. The front desk asks if it has any luggage. It replies “no, I’m traveling light”
I went to buy a lottery ticket for myself, and one for my dog. The girl said "Your dog can't buy one" "Yes he can" I told her, "the advert says players must be 18,or Rover"
This is rather wonderful: a door for fish in a canal lock in Utrecht has a live webcam so people can alert the lock keeper if there are fish waiting to get through https://www.discoverwildlife.com/animal-facts/fish/fish-doorbell
Of course, climate change is making it all worse. It also irritates me that the news makes it all about the celebrities who have lost their homes. While distressing for them, they can at least afford to buy a new home and rebuild their lives relatively quickly. Some people will be left with nothing.
Agreed...I do feel that USA news is such easy pickings for our own media. Earthquake in Nepal this week, fair enough it was initially reported but now relegated into virtual oblivion. Gaza, Ukraine, Sudan, Nigerian kidnapping etc, etc, etc relatively less newsworthy. Some tradegy in USA and were all over it. Wild fires have been continuously burning in Canada for months. Well get days and days of this LA fire reported. . Mass hysteria will break out if the Hollywood sign is singed!
Doubt if anyone remembers much about the fires in Canada ? Don’t suppose it matters to SOME Americans , it’s just poor ol’ little
