I've lost a few parts of my greenhouse already, but I'm still hoping for a trampoline and maybe some garden furniture to turn up on the lawn so it might not be too bad

If you normally have your bin emptied Friday, this week’s collection has been cancelled because of Storm Eunice and the potential for harm to the refuse collectors from flying debris.
Not yet known when they will catch up.
    Edit Southampton area.

I guess it is now accepted that she and Johnson were lovers, what with a national newspaper printing it.
Doesn’t that mean he should be dragged through the legal system for the funding he threw at her?
If a man wants to pay for sex, that is his prerogative, but I object the money is coming from public funds.

Moving away from my original post but surely spaffer has to be bought to book for the fraudulent misuse of public funds.

And if they were emptied today (like around here), Please bring them back in. I just got mine and saw that 5 neighbours have left theirs on the pavement ready to get blown through a window or into a car.

Most of the schools are closed in my area, so as my bins go out tomorrow, I should be able to find some kids to sit on them to stop them blowing away.
And if they do blow away, there's plenty of other kids around

Red weather warning extended across the south overnight. Be careful everyone, don't take any unecessary risks! Don't think anyone on here is dieing to get a Darwin award, but avoid the coast!

This sounds obvious, but stay away from trees and avoid driving on small, country roads if possible.

Their foolhardy behaviour then puts the lives of the rescue services at risk. No vaccination for the stupid virus.

Did anyone hear about the freighter carrying a cargo of yo-yos that got caught in storm Eunice?

    It sank 42 times

It's a bit breezy but (fortunately) not as bad as feared.
