Like I said mate it only meant in jest and no harm meant. If anyone wants to take the mick out of me they are welcome to do so. If I do upset anyone then I apologise I just love banter but have been known to take to far on occasions so never fear to give me a bollocking if you feel its needed
Don't apologise mate you were just sticking up for him which is a good thing. Like I said sometimes I take things to far without realising that I'm doing it.
To give everyone an Idea of what I'm really like in real life. One of my colleagues a few years ago was moaning about another colleague whom I stuck up for. My colleague then said to me "your problem Marv is that you like everyone', "and he is right.
Some people like to be liked while others couldn't care less. I am in the latter group needless to say.
Although I like everyone as I said previously it has never bothered me what people think about me. I am very much in the if they don't like me that's their problem camp.
Peace at last: Kylie Minogue 'is moving back to Australia'. There will be tears in some homes I think.
Brexit, the gift that just keeps on giving. Pinched this off a forum. This is a queue of UK visitors to Spain, this morning, waiting to enter the Alicante airport terminal, and have their passports stamped by the border police, before they can progress on to collect their luggage and get through the other side to start their holiday. Before Brexit I rarely encountered border police and would just walk straight through, although they would sometimes be there to check passports. This queue was aggravated by several planes arriving from the UK and disembarking at the same time, but could well be a sign of the times going forward, especially when holidaymaker numbers increase to pre-Covid levels. I am guessing that planes from the EU disembark via the air bridges, rather than by shuttle bus, which gives them a different, and easier, point of entry, away from the leper’s of Europe. The person who took the photo queued for around 1 hour, before getting through to the luggage carousels. When I arrived I was fortunate enough to be one of the first off the shuttle bus and about 4th in line to have my passport stamped, so through in minutes.
