My wife left me because of my obsession with Battleships. She’d never mentioned a problem… B4.

My son sent me this video and I thought I would share it with you guys because I know many, if not most, of us will understand and feel for these guys.

Just because you are banged up in prison, doesn't mean you are not a valuable human being. Everyone needs love in their life. Being loved and being able to love is one of the only things that has value in this world.

    Hats off to you lady.....

Thanks for posting that Kaito, that was very moving. I’m sure the US is no different from this country, in that a massive shortage of psychiatric beds in hospitals has led to the prison system having to house those who aren’t able to live within the rules set by society, not because they are inherently bad, but because of traumas suffered in childhood. My wife used to be a Community Psychiatric Nurse and can testify to the sheer numbers involved.

Trying to acclimatise to the Spanish sun. Got in the car just after 12pm and the car registered a temperature of 42C.
Spent an hour in the empty pool to recover :emoticon-0105-wink:.
Also found out that my favourite local bar has reinstated Mahou, my favourite Spanish beer at the princely price of €2.50 a pint.
Just need a Saints win now.

Can anyone tell me why I can get not606 on my phone, but not my lap top? Tend to use my phone, but I’m sure it was available on my computer within the last month.

OK....managed to reverse in by finding a historical article on line. Crazy.

    Any gardening experts out there?
In the two years I have been away from my place in Spain, I turn up and find a palm tree growing in my garden.
Don’t know how it managed to find a gap in a very small patch of earth, but it is doing well.
Trouble is, I don’t want a palm tree in my garden, especially not one that is taking up the space of my very beautiful rose tree.
Anyone know how to stunt it, if I cut it as low as I can to the ground, so it doesn’t grow again.
I don’t want to use anything that might be harmful to the rose tree.
This is the offending tree, which was spreading in all directions until a neighbour cut it back to this size, before I came over.

It’s a Mexican Fan Palm, Washingtonian robusta, so not even a Spanish native. I should just cut the bloody thing down and send it back to LA.

    They are flipping dangerous.
The frond on the ground, I cut off with secateurs to see how robust it was, and I ended up bleeding from making contact with one of the many spikes on it.
Trying to get some chain mail.

The rose tree desperately needs pruning and dead heading but I can’t get near it, because I keep getting palmed off.
