    Help (desperately) wanted

An old farmer is inconsolable after his dog goes missing.

His wife suggests he take out an ad in the newspaper, which he does.

But two weeks later, there’s still no sign of the mutt.

“What did you write in the ad?” his wife asks.
    .
    .
    .
    “Here, boy,” he replies

Bit short notice but I'm raising money for Cancer Research on Sunday. A few years ago (you may or may not remember) I raised money by walking from London to Brighton. Now this time I didn't fancy anything quite as knackering. So I'm jumping out of a plane from 15,000 feet. It was actually a 30th birthday present but I decided a may as well raise a few quid for a good cause. Please donate if you can!

Update: due to poor weather forecast tomorrow it has had to be postponed. :( Still, more time for donations. :)

Thanks to all who have donated so far.

Just looked at the long list of programmes and people up for BAFTAs and realised that I have seen virtually none of them. An actor for a role in Criminal...excellent series, a couple of quizzes and Corrie. Not sure whether it says something about me or something about the programmes available in the qualifying period. :)

Ok, I'll be the first to say it.

Congrats Harry & Meghan on Lilibet.

They have caused a lot of issues to the royals over the last few months, but as a royalist, I still see Harry as a wounded man after the treatment of his mum all those years ago. Meghan on the other hand is an opportunist that has taken him away from his heritage.

    There said it.

Liked Meghan at first, now see her as a narcissist, but Harry must be really hard work. He means well, but it must be like dragging a dead weight through life. However, a nice healthy baby is always good news.

I am going to Southampton for lunch and shopping today. Nearly 18 months since I left the Island. Both excited and strangely trepidatious .....got used to being at home. Look out Southampton....here I come :)

Meghan is Poison . Harry is a rebel because he can be . I am pro royal for a lot if them , his brother for instance. I have no time for him as a royal . As a man yes . He flew helicopters in Afghanistan!

A Met Police officer has admitted kidnapping and raping Sarah Everard.

The 33-year-old vanished as she walked home in Clapham, south London, on 3 March. Her body was found a week later in woodland near Ashford, Kent.

Appearing at the Old Bailey, PC Wayne Couzens, 48, pleaded guilty both to kidnap and rape.

The court heard he also accepted responsibility for killing Ms Everard but did not enter a plea on the charge of murder.
