The origin of the stones has been known for a long time...the difference is that they now think they formed part of a stone circle in Wales which was dismantled and moved with the people...rather than just mined with the intention of taking them to Stonehenge. In other words, they had a previous life....which indicates their great significance to the people.

Excellent! Great that they’re going back to the first book, and even better that they have cast someone of that stature in the role, as Reacher’s sheer physical size is a huge part of the character. Can’t wait!
