Worked a treat, Apple watch vibrated and that is the alert I saw. Casually went to Mrs No7 who was watching a TV program and pretended to kiss her on the cheek, whilst my hand pinched her and said those famous words "Pinch punch, first day of the month" Champion again.
Mrs Jab being Indonesian doesn't understand. After years I though I'd explain she still thinks I'm bonkers, you know the "yes dear" reply. From https://funkyenglish.com/pinch-punch-its-the-first-of-the-month/ ( Pinch punch, it’s the first of the month! In Great Britain we have a funny tradition for the first day of each month. First we say “Pinch punch, it’s the first of the month!” Then we give somebody a small pinch and a light punch on the arm. We can do this on first day of every month. If we follow this by saying white rabbits or white rabbits, no returns it means the receiver of the pinch punch can’t return the saying and pinch or punch us back! Beware! In some parts of the UK people may reply with “A flick and a kick for being so quick“. This – obviously – will be combined with a flick and a kick. In Australia the similar expression – A pinch and a punch for the first of the month – is more common. Some people believe this tradition should only be expressed before midday. please log in to view this image Who uses this phrase? This is a funny little tradition commonly carried out by kids, as well as people who just enjoy being silly. It is a playful and humorous way to welcome a new month.
Did anyone else watch code 404 on Sky One? Daniel Mays and Stephen Graham. Different and, IMO, very funny.
So, update, no reply yet and at this point I believe I won't be getting a reply. I can't say I'm surprised, but I am slightly disappointed, I was hoping there was a possibility we could reconnect and maybe even see each other one more time, given how good friends we were once upon a time. Still, I guess it was always unlikely given how much time it's been, even if we had never had that falling out. Still, I suppose the thing to do now is just be happy we had that close friendship at one time now, rather than be sad that it's gone for good.
I've never actually read a magazine for 15 year old girls, but it's nice to get an insight into what they might be like...
Dont worry PL chilcs has already bullied one our well known posters into quitting the forum earlier already today maybe he's got the taste for blood now
Well most other posts have been to do with it being the 1st, so I don't know what that would do with teenage magazines so i assumed it related to my more 'emotional' post, but clearly I was mistaken.
