Harry & Meg stepping down to avoid the limelight. News flash, you are on every bloody channel now! Next time, just turn up late to a couple events, people will soon forget you were supposed to be there! Anyone else think this abduction is going to make things worst for them?
Oh I hope not. But I do have this foreboding dread about the near future for them. This is not going to pan out well. Harry tossed a snowball, that now looks like a avalanche.
I do feel for Harry. I think he has been affected by his mother's death a lot more than William. Also I don't get this hate for Meghan, she isn't my cup of tea, but the way I see it you can't blame her for the way things are panning out. Everyone has said how he has changed since he met her - what guy on here can put their hands up and not say they are a different person after meeting their other half? I am totally different.
I think his mothers death played a big part in Harry's decision. But I'm not sure he is going to be left alone by the press etc. Despite him for going his HRH title. I guess we will see........
They will lose the press office . They will now be wide open to the paparazzi. If Harry has done this for love then good luck , I have my doubts though .
I can understand the desire to step back from royal commitments.....must be so boring....not to mention the need to watch your every move. People turn up to see you and you have to be all smiley...heaven help you if you stifle a yawn. They are both interested in good causes, but can now do what they choose (within reason). They wanted to do it half and half, but that would never work. Harry is way down the pecking order now William has 3 children but I have wondered if a future heir may just say no and the throne has to go to the next one down...being rich and not royal would be my preferred choice. Good luck to them.
What an absolutely brilliant thing this dad created for his disabled daughter. Genius. Just look at her happy face ..... https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-jersey-51174568
That's excellent. I wonder if there are any British manufacturing firms out there who would consider building a version for a disabled world market? Do you think they'd have the enterprise?
I love stories like this. What a beautiful smile and such dedication from her dad. Having spent a few years working as a live in carer for young men with physical and learning disability, I never tire of seeing a success story, such as this. Watching them achieve what able bodied people take for granted was wonderful and so rewarding. Watching my own wife take her first steps after being told she would never walk again is top of my list, though. The joy on her face was akin to what we have seen from young Ava in the video. Me? I was blubbing like a baby. Her walking is still very limited, but she was determined to prove the doctors wrong.
I take my hat of to you Badger and I do admire and appreciate you for the things you have done. It takes a special kind of person to take on a live in job like that. That is also wonderful news about your wife walking again and a real testament to the strength of the human spirit. I guess you never know what's possible until you try. Now we know why they call you St Badger.
Amazing, St Badger. So very pleased for your wife and for you. You are clearly an absolute star and a rock for her. Can’t praise you enough.
Thank you both. I am nothing special and I am sure that I could do more than I do, but then a lot of working/living with those that have a disability is to encourage them to do as much as possible for themselves to retain their independence.
The last time I was in Spain I passed the Google maps van, and for the last few months I have been looking at the maps to see if Google have updated it. Today I have discovered that they have and I am now a Google maps celebrity. Photo below, in my Citroen Picasso Xsara.
Harry is apparently in talks to be an actor like his wife Meghan. He is going to be known as the artist formerly known as Prince.
A truck loaded with Vicks Vaporub overturned on the motorway. Amazingly, there was no congestion for eight hours.
I was cleaning out the loft the other day with the wife. Filthy, dirty and covered with cobwebs. But at least she's good with the kids.
