Yeah, apologies. Hoist with my own petard there. An old fact. Owned by Comcast, these days. Nevertheless, still right wing in attitude/bias, though not as ridiculously right-wing as Murdoch's Fox News in the USA, which has to be seen to be believed.
To be honest my perception of this election is that the most pro-government biased, anti-Corbyn prejudiced news channel by far is the BBC, led by Laura Kuenssberg. She does report some of Johnson’s gaffes and lies, but doesn’t fasten terrier-like on to them like she does any perceived stumble by Corbyn. Fiona Bruce on QT is just as bad. In contrast, Nick Robinson led last night’s debate on BBC1 very fairly I thought.
Stops him potentially detonating an explosive vest - I know it was discovered that he had a fake one on, and if it was real I suppose it could be remotely triggered but shooting the ****er makes sure he can't cause any more deaths himself.
I'm not normally pedantic about this sort of thing and can see that there's always going to be some cross over with threads but politics are so divisive we could end up having arguments on two different threads. And I don't particularly want to fall out about politics on a football forum which is why I stay away (from the politics thread). I've been sorely tempted to drop in recently though.
Paddy takes his new wife to bed on their wedding night. She undresses seductively, slowly lays on the bed spread-eagled and with a sexy look in her eyes, says: "You know what I want, don't you Paddy?" "Yeah," says Paddy. "The whole feckin' bed by the looks of it!"
The Art and Literature thread is now about biscuits and ugly buildings. The Rabbit Hutch is now discussing politics and the Politics thread has now evolved into a cycling fest. With so much out of position and confusion seeming to be the order of the day ..... has Ralph been coaching the forum?
It has been mentioned Kaito, that's the trouble these days no discipline. I'm going to write something about commie corbyn on the politics thread, that'll get them scurrying back.
Good idea, and while you're at it, also propose Beddy to have a new name, such as TeflonBeddy now he has become the de facto non-sticky thread person.
