I met PH at Spa once. Same year I met Ron Dennis and Flavio there. PH was by FAR the most scary! (Ron was nothing but utterly lovely and charming, just to dispel that myth. Flavio was a bell-end, which rather confirms his myth).

This university lark is quite hard work. I've had a bit of a shock after having pretty much the whole summer off.

 

I am trying to get an Xbox One at the moment. In no hurry but keep looking for a good deal. Just seen an amazing glitch where Argos were giving 20% off using the voucher code "Weight 20" and by the time I manage to find a store which actually has everything in stock on the already reasonably priced package they've fixed it.

Damn.

I don't have the figures, as I'm no mathematician, but do remember that the balls have to be in precisely the right order and sequence or all there is, is chaos. It is an entirely manufactured illusion. Whether it has anything in common with straight-line motion and circular motion relationships, I don't know. Looks good though. I think there is a Victorian perpetual motion machine based on this principle. It doesn't work of course, because of frictional forces.

 

Hello..? Thunder and Lightning in Southampton..! In November..?

 

I heard it too. Was one long loud clap of thunder. But no more?

 

I think there was one more flash of lightning a few minutes later, but the thunder must have been far off. According to Pompeymeowth, it was Singing Blue 3 exploding. That figures. Convenient too.

 

PH was known as the bulldog . One year Keke Rosberg came in moaning about the car and started to climb out . Patrick yelled " get back in that ****ing car NOW" Keke did .........

 

Oh boy.... Radio 2 to play Jools Holland and some classy Aussie lass doing a re-work of "Should I stay or should I go" in the next hour... Two of my favourite music types.
