**Message to all Windows 10 users** Please read through to the end, even if it's boring. I've just done the Anniversary Update to all my PCs. All I can say is GO CAREFULLY. There are one or two things you need to look out for. After the update [actually, it appears to be a complete upgrade of the OS] you may find that if you normally sign-in with a pin number YOU CAN NO LONGER DO SO. Yes, that's right. You can no longer use your own computer. You can try to sign-in as many times as you like and the PC will tell you that your pin number is incorrect, even though only the last you signed in it was fine. So, here's what you need to do if you normally sign-in. If you have already updated and find that you can't sign-in [you're reading this on another device], make sure you remember your Microsoft account sign-in password. You can use that instead. On the sign-in screen you will have Sign-in Options. Choose the Password Option and sign-in. If you haven't already updated and you have control over your pin number, may I suggest that you temporarily change it so that you don't have to sign-in, but that your PC or device boots up and sails into the OS desktop all by itself. After the Anniversary Update [look in Settings > Windows Update, for Build 1607] you can then change back to a pin number should you want to. There are other minor possible issues that might affect your convenient operation, but they are easily recoverable, if annoying [having two HDDs, for example]. This is what comes of Microsoft Windows trying to be compatible with every piece of hardware under the Sun. It screws up once in a while. For example, if you have an Apple your OS only has to be compatible with its own hardware. Both methods have strengths and weaknesses. **Note: this advice is given to those people who have devices that may be affected. Just be prepared. In most cases nothing will happen and Windows 10 will boot up and operate as normal, and you'll wonder what I'm banging on about. If that's the case then great. If not, you'll be glad you took heed of this advice. Additionally, if all the advice above applies to you, and you have a Smartphone, may I suggest you get the Microsoft Account app for any future password issues, if you haven't already got it, for your phone [any format]. It will mean that you can sign-in to your account and effect changes in passwords, pin numbers etc... Of course, if you then get your smartphone stolen...
Has anyone ever fainted before ? was doing a Static bike ride for a work charity . I am NOT fit I am over weight and I have high blood pressure . We were doing 1 1/2 minutes flat out , with a 15 minute break . After the first 3 I was fine , after the 4th , I went to the loo , got back to my office chair , . Next thing , all these people staring at me , . They called the First aiders , who got me in the recovery position they then rang 999 who sent a Paramedic , who called for re-inforcements . Blood pressure was 60 / 40 , which I have been told is not good . OK now , but scared the **** out of me & Mrs J & those who witnessed it . Poin1 - Don't take a chance on doing something you are not fairly certain you can do . Point 2 - Thank goodness for First Aiders . Point 3 - I MUST lose wait & get fit .

Hope you are ok now. 60/40 is very low, compared to what is considered a more normal 120/80. I have fainted once before, as a result of having the flu. I had a high temperature and low blood pressure (so the doctor told me), a combination that can cause passing out. I guess you were quite warm, after the exercise, so that, the low blood pressure, and maybe a little dehydrated(?), after the exercise, would be an almost perfect storm.
Ok now ta. Did i mention I have a stinking cold.... I had done three Stints, they said it was enough, but no, I thought I knew best and did the fourth.... Hindsight is wonderfull isn't it ..........
Glad you're OK, Jasper. I've very nearly fainted while driving when I had a cold (all went grey for a few seconds, but I was so far from normal it didn't make me worried), so it may well just be the cold wot did it. Vin
Was in bratis lava when summit was on...helicopters,speedboats, police everywhere guarding the quayside. Imagine the scenario...armed police behind police tape between 150 British pensioners and their lunch. Who would win? No contest. . We all limboed under the tape...The police just shrugged and let us through...think they realised they might end up on the menu.
On a sombre note, there was the most evocative war memorial I have ever seen in Budapest. Hundreds of Hungarian Jews were made to remove their shoes before being shot and thrown in the Danube. An artist has placed a lot of shoes cast in bronze alongside the Quay....children,s, womens and mens...as if the victims had just dropped them. People were taking pictures,but I could only look and weep...anything else would be like an intrusion.
Very sad and moving Fran. My wife was on a school trip to Normandy this week and this included a wonderful ceremony as part of the 100th year commemorations.
It is incredibly moving isn't it, Fran. Well done for not taking pictures - I get very irritated by people doing that at places like that. These are historical acts we need to remember, so they aren't allowed to happen again.
