There have been several petitions St.G. This government knows how most people want their BBC to continue. They're just taking no notice. I emailed my MP. She's committed to changing the Beeb, so no help there. We're going to sleepwalk into losing the biggest asset in UK [and indeed world] TV, if we're not very careful.

I have a very good friend who works for the BBC and I took my grandchildren up to visit and have a tour around Broadcasting House. As we stood outside I said to my grandchildren that the BBC was the most important institution in Britain. More important than the Government and the banks as the BBC defends your freedom. I truly believe that and I cannot let Cameron and his cronies destroy it.
