Wow this is really turning into an old 606 argument fast:
    Member A: I checked driver A's twitter
Member B: Yeah and driver A had superior management of some kind to the vastly inferior driver B
Member C: All down to superior car and witchcraft
    Member D: I have a million sources
    Member E: FACT!

As Di Resta beat Vettel in F3, that makes him the better driver in equal cars.

Remember Mansell fans, Mansell was a crap driver according to an old 606 twat (and sometimes trolls these boards too) as he got outqualified by Riccardo Patrese once. FACT.

di Resta is better than Vettel as he beat him in equal cars in f3. FACT.

    END OF ARGUMENT

I sort of find this discussion hilarious. Di Resta beats Seb in F3, and therefore feels the need to bring it up constantly and say he could beat Vettel given equal machinery again? Now I don't doubt that Di Resta is a pretty quick driver and I think he would do well if he were in the Red Bull or a McLaren or a Ferrari, but to say he is better than Vettel simply because he beat him by a few points back when they raced in F3 seems a bit ridiculous. They've all gotten better since those days, so whos to say that Vettel hasn't surpassed him, especially given he is a 2 time world champion and Di Resta, well, isn't. I'm not even the biggest Seb fan honestly, but there is no way Di Resta is better than him, or at least I won't believe it until I see it happen over the course of several seasons

    Pretty much <laugh>

Didn't think it would happen but just found this tweet in my timeline..

@Jonnyohms, thanks, whilst it would have been a great, I'm with a FI team thats getting better.
Past results will be mirrored in the future! I have faith in myself and my team! #KorGP

Do you think he's hinting about F3 exploits?

BTW, the above tweet is totally made up!

    Keep Calm and Di Resta!

It's not Di Resta's fault that at the time Seb wasn't capable of handling a car at 170mph (although for balance even I acknowledge that he is pretty good at it now).

Who is this Di Resta person? I've never heard of him.

But he must be pretty good if he beat Vettel in F3

Is it fair to say Driver A is HWNSNBM and Driver B is Vettel as Driver A is better than Driver B with all his F3 management skills?

Brundle almost beat Senna in F3, I feel he should bring it up in conversation with di Resta one day.
