Scottish football is piss poor imo. And as quality of football is piss poor in the SPL it feeds into the poor quality of football in the Glasgow derby.
Much of the intense atmosphere is historically sectarian poison...and it has often spilled out into hatred...doesn't make for an enjoyable experience to me.
As for your view of me...wind your neck in mate. You asked a question and I answered. If you don't want answers you don't like then maybe you shouldn't ask the question

How many Scottish teams have made it to the UEFA/Europa League group stages?
How many Scottish teams have made it to the CL final 16?
How many Scottish teams have made it to the CL quarter finals? Or semi finals?
How about the last 32 in the UEFA/ EL cups? Or the last 16? Or semi finals? Or final?
Scotland used to produce scores of fantastic footballers...would do well in European competitions and produced a decent national team.
In the last 2 decades or so that has not been the case. And imo (which I said in my first post) this is because the quality of Scottish football is piss poor.

A 2 team league that became a 1 team league, there's a long way to go before the SPL become interesting again.Rangers back in the top league is at least the start of that.

Both Celtic and Rangers have made a European final in recent times. Celtic '03 and Rangers '08. You can look up the teams that where beat along the way.

Domestically you can only beat what is put in front of you. The results acheived, in spite of limitations, are incredible.
