We are so very very far away from breaching the FFP rules. It's barely worth mentioning it tbh. If we didn't get promoted this season then it would start to come on the radar.

£25M Bid accepted all in cash no staggered payments. Gini on his way today. Hanley passed his medical yesterday, should be announced today.

I do like Gini, but I despise players who can't perform when the chips are down. We needed a player to turn up for 38 games last year and he only really performed in a handful.

Your right, I am a bit conflicted. I reckon the mojority of nufc fans are with this deal. I think most will be pleased we got such a good deal, £10M profit in a year from a player who went missing all the time. But we all know what he is capable of, on his day he was un-playable. A little aggreived he didnt play better more often

Well £25m was more than I was expecting, nice work there!

Unfortunately it leaves a big gap in our midfield now as we don't have a regular goal scoring midfielder - Shelvey and Colback may get a few, but not regularly.

Nolan got 17 league goals in the championship in 09/10 and in 92/93 Rob Lee got 10 and Lee Clark 9....we need a midfielder who can chip in with those kinda figures.

Midfielder Mane sold for £34 Million, for me, I think we should have been asking £30 Million. Both Wiji and Mane scored same amount of goals last season. At least the will he go or will he stay question has been answered and we can now move on from here, I wish him well at his new club.

Mane had a much bigger impact on Southampton than Wij did with us. Liverpool were kinda had over the Mane deal too to be honest.

£13.5 million for Townsend( too cheap), £25 million for Gini (too much) and £35 million for Sissoko (hahahaha brilliant). £73 million for the three of them seems like decent business to me.!

    Whose paying 35m for sissoko?

I said at end of season Wijnaldum would be 1 player is take from you guys. I thought he looked good although patchy but in his first year at new club who were patchy themselves with some very average players he did alright. Happy with signing, £25m may be £5m too much But it's all in context. Ibe was sold for £15m and Allen is going for £13m, more than covers the class of 2 squad players who didn't have much impact last year for a 1st team player so can't overly complain.

PSV are getting a proportion of the fee due to a sell on clause. When you factor that in - £25 million is peanuts really. He should be going for at least £30 mill.
I see Juventus are after Sissoko for £35 mill. That move is dependant on Pogba going to Man Utd.

£25m is a steal if sissoko goes for 35, however the Gotze move is reported to be somewhere between £18M-£22m, so Gini at 25 is overpriced. Just depends on context.

Your options in wide midfield is mad, unsure how your gonna fit them all in!

Great signing for them. Overpriced but that is the market now.

I think he will have a positive impact and Klopp will get the best out of him.

I think we have done you again, re Carroll. Please buy Sissoko, so we can really, really have a laugh at your expense.!

Shame really. If we'd had a good manager at the start of last season we wouldn't be talking about losing Wijnaldum and he would have probably been a far better player for us. I still for the life of me cannot work out how Steve McClaren got the job.

Do you see him as more a wise man then? Thinking is that maybe Lallana is under pressure now, with firm/Cout/mane/Wijnaldum likely to be Main options behind Sturridge or irigi
