It's quite hard considering the amount of **** prem players give refs, despite multiple cameras watching a game. Kids grow up thinking it's fine and then eventually think it's fine to abuse refs. Fair play to people like Tom who go and do it week in week out. Respect the ref even if you don't Respect the decision
Congratulations to Sholing FC after winning the promotion play-off final on Monday in front of a club record home crowd of nearly1,300. The Boatmen will play at the highest level in their history next season (just 3 leagues below the Football League!) https://www.sholingfc.co.uk/index.php
Good to see Ryan Finnigan played the full 90 for Crewe, so he's fit again. Was out for a month or so, and has history of injuries. Hoping he gets another chance in pre-season with the first team.
Previous to that injury the Crewe fans were raving about him, saying he was levels above the league they are in and we're desperate to sign him. I'd love it if he was apart of the first team. Could replace diallo for example.
Napoli doing their best to not yet win the title need 1 point from last five games, 1-0 down at Udinese
For anyone concerned about next season, Sunderland getting into the play-offs with 69 points is only the second time that a team with less than 70 points has ever achieved that (since the division became the First Division/Championship). The other time being Palace in 2012-13 when they did it with 68 points. You have to go back to the days of the Second Division for when it last happened before Palace (back in 1990-91). Even Coventry would have missed out on the play-offs in almost every other season. Never during this period has a side finished as high as 5th with 70 points. Boro's final tally of 75 points to get them 4th is usually what is required just to get 6th. The standard at the higher end of the Championship this season - whilst still producing exciting football - is not as strong as in previous years.
