I am reading it was more a case of Parker falling out with the owner than possibly placating irrate fans. Probably went along the lines of Parker saying "what do you expect when you don't invest to strengthen the squad?" I have an ex work colleague who worked at Bomo for 5 years and he told me (last year) the owner is a nightmare to deal with.
