    Can’t help but look at the midfield 3 of Fabinho hendo & Thiago and think that a midfield 3 of Oriol,JWP,Diallo would have been so much better than a 4-4-2 this season.

    My biggest critique of ralph is that he’s never tried this

    I gather that he wanted to in the Liverpool match but a late injury prevented it. Not sure why it wasn’t tried again. We are short on central midfielders so can’t afford to do it week in week out

    Also there is a chance that Ralph is concerned that our attacking options are not effective enough to only have two or three of them plus the full backs contribution

    I know many want Liverpool to lose this final, but I would hate to see Madrid win by playing this boring non football way of stifling attacks and hoping to score on the break.

    It’s really annoying as we have the players for it. Would have made us much more solid, and diallo has an eye for a pass. Could have worked really well.

    One thing about Real Madrid is they are absolutely immune to yellow cards.

    Their players could literally stab someone in the middle of an oppo attack and the ref wouldn’t book them. Been the same in all their knockout games
