No, first half ref was very United biased

 

And not exactly renowned for his superior intellect.

 

He will do any amount of mental gymnastics necessary to defend referees. I respect it a lot to be honest.

At least he’s actually consistent… unlike premier league referees

 

Jacob Ramsey has been really good today. I want to steal him.

 

TBH I didn't see anything from Shaw to really warrant a yellow earlier. Possible persistent fouling but not an obvious yellow IMO.

 

Well it stood out to at least three people on this board...

 

That's your and their opinion and I respect that. I just don't like the "Shaw should be off now" comments as we don't know what would have happened had he been booked earlier.

 

I mean he definitely.couldnt have been defending like that so it did change the game.

I have been more impressed with Villa than United.

 

TBH based on what I've seen tonight I'll be quite pleased if Villa go out. They've been the better side tonight and they've been impressive under Gerrard and could of been a very dangerous opponent.

 

Yep, Villa look ok.

United look like a shadow of their former shadow of themselves.
