    Hope he pulls through but if he doesn't it will be a very sad moment as his genius lit up two World Cups at opposite ends of his playing career in 1958 and in 1970 as well as inspiring words of wonder from commentators like Kenneth Wolstenholme, and cultivating enduring and lasting friendship with the likes of Bobby Charlton. For me, he was the best ever!! And never did you see him pout and gesticulate in front of cameras, a la Maradonna or Ronaldo.

    Sergio Aguero to retire at 33. What a player. Real shame his career has ended this way but his health is far more important than anything else.

    Real Madrid tried to ask for the new draw to start after their match had been drawn as the mistake was after

    Not sure why they thought that would fly

    They won’t be pleased but that was quite cheeky !

    Sounds like they were only unhappy due to the threat of it being redrawn and them having a harder draw

    I've just noticed Barca are 18 points behind Real Madrid. 18 after just 16 games! Although Real have played a game more that's still shocking. That and the fact they're out of the CL gives them a great opportunity to go into rebuild mode for this season. Blood the youngsters, get rid of the old players on big wages etc.
