It is also a signing that could misfire massively as other players at the club might well resent his arrival on much bigger wages, so I wouldn't be quite so sure about that.

 

Signing big name players has done them well in the past - Zidane, Ronaldo, Figo etc so I can't see it backfiring. They also bought Camavinga which was a very good signing for the future.

 

We shall just have to wait and see.
