There`s a 17 year old lad called Calvin Ramsay making his debut for Aberdeen right now - a few years ago, I used to see him at Parkrun on a Saturday morning running as hard as he could, when most boys his age would still be in their pit. Good attitude and work ethic !

Lille 3 points clear at the top of Ligue 1, after beating PSG 0-1.
    Captained by Jose Fonte.

Captain Fantastic...we haven't had an onfield leader like him since he left..:(

We should definitely find a job for him when he hangs up his boots, he has done all his badges I believe.

Anyone seen Bristol City’s new training/performance centre? Looks good. I’m not sure what their backing looks like financially, but it’s about time that City had a decent team again. Could be interesting if they have good backing and start getting the behind the scenes stuff correct.

I don’t know much about their ownership.

Stephen Lansdown is the owner, a billionaire who made his money in financial services. Seems really committed to the club and the city and isn't shy about pumping money in. He's well thought of in the city

Cheers SC, definitely a club to watch them. It would be good to see them in the PL.

I’ve just watched a 2 minute interview with Chris Sutton talking about his ex-footballer Dad’s passing from dementia. Very moving.

Combination of awful refereeing and the weakness of VAR in th Man City game. Bellingham tackles keeper but before he can pass into the empty net the ref blows for a foul. Replay shows 100% not a foul but because ref blew before ball crossed the line it couldn't be reviewed.

Why would the ref not just let him finish? So dodgy.

Got a spare room... or I’ll get a work appointment and stay in that hotel I met you at last time. (Without the American who didn’t quite understand how we met and why I was meeting a stranger!! <laugh>)

Well it's not dodgy it's just very bad refereeing.

Of course it is dodgy, bad refereeing is letting him score and then blowing for what he thought was a foul. Not even allowing VAR to review it is dodgy.
