The lad is on fire. Finally showing his City form in recent weeks. Now for that Tielemans yellow at some point please
The thing back in January where I suggested that, if Leicester came in for Ings, I'd take Iheanacho in part exchange? I don't think we have to worry about that possibility anymore.
I was assuming that their game vs WBA would be moved to the midweek before. But yeah, if it wasn't...
I'm still making Leicester favourites in the SF. But I'd give us a one-in-four (maybe even one-in-three if I'm being generous) of winning. And I'd give Chelsea that same chance against City. COYS
The thing to remember is that we could win the trophy with 2 draws with a bit of luck but would prefer to win them obviously. We are the underdogs (not massively so) but we have pulled out some unexpected results under Ralph before.
I remember going to Wembley for the semi-final against Chelsea hoping we would cause a shock but I always expected to lose. Next month we have a genuine shot of reaching the FA Cup Final. Just gutted no fans will be allowed to attend.
On our best form we can give anyone a match, it's just that we haven't been in top form for a while because of issues which are being resolved now.
I still wouldn't rule out the SFs being included within the pilot events - especially because current talk is that all pilot events (whether for sport or entertainment) will be confined to London, Liverpool and Sheffield. SF weekend coincides with the start of the Snooker World Championships, and the latter seems confident of being included. Of course even a pilot event would not be the same.
