To win this cup we have to beat two teams that are better than us. I don't care which two.

 

Yes, but surely you would rather avoid arguably the best team in the world, or at the very least easily the best in the country?

 

I would rather lose to city than United in the final. I would happily beat any of them. This maths is simple.

I think we have a better chance of beating United than City, so to me it is indeed obvious!

 

I don't think we have much chance of beating any of the other teams still in it. However a lucky day can happen against any of them. We need two lucky days!
