They’re going to wait until just before the Cup game to appoint, so they get the full new manager bounce effect.
Terry Henry's managerial record thus far is nothing to write home about, would be an appointment based on his reputation as a player.
Yes, rather like Frank Lampard or Steven Gerrard. I know Lampard got sacked but that's due to Roman's trigger finger.
Things hotting up a bit in the National League, long time leaders Torquay are having a bit of a mid season wobble but Eastleigh are going like a train and flying up the league. I would love to see them both in the Football League and of course it would be an historic achievement for the Spitfires.
A win % of just 21 at his only other managerial position at Boro...plenty of time for them to lose a few more before they play us!..
My bad, it was "village", as in village idiot. He was, however, described by his own defence counsel as being as thick as two short planks... https://www.independent.co.uk/sport...co-a-journey-to-confound-sceptics-557335.html
My guess is that the FA Cup final might now be moved. Currently scheduled for 15 May - two days before Wembley can open its doors to 10,000 fans.
It would have to be a midweek (the following weekend is the final day of the PL season, the weekend after that is the CL final, and the weekend after that is too close to the Euros). But I doubt many will be complaining about an FA Cup final on, say, Wednesday 19 May, if it means having 10,000 fans inside.
I definitely can't see any shifting in the Euros. Which means the first two group games at Wembley (our matches vs Croatia and Scotland) being limited to the same 10,000 fans, with the remaining games at Wembley (our final group game vs Czech, plus one last 16 match, plus the SFs and the final) potentially in front of a full house. Albeit I'll believe that when I see it.
