I see people getting their knickers in a twist because they thought VAR wasn't used for the second goal. Thing is it is used in its areas EVERY TIME. Sometimes it just confirms the ref's decision. So if it confirms a decision, nothing happens. There's a so-called expert on the radio who reckons VAR will ruin the game. Twat.!
Cause he was being a twat. Even a reporter talking to Glenn Murray has got it wrong. EVERY decision that VAR is designed to review is reviewed. The assistant ref says Yes, right decision, and it appears to not be used because there is no fuss. But it is still being used.

Yes, you would think a game with VAR would have had multiple cameras on the goals, but they only showed that one anglewhich wasn’t particularly helpful. Almost as though they wanted to discredit VAR before it even got off the ground?
The one for me was the one from behind the goal with the ball heading towards the camera. I really couldn’t see a touch.
