Belgium have loads of attacking players and also play with a back 3 tbf.
England unfortunate to be losing. A great clearance off the line by Lukaku. And the free kick for their second should have been our kick, not theirs.
That Mertens looks uncomfortably like twatbeard.
Never been a fan of it and hated it when Saints played with it, I don't see Southgate as a progressive enough coach personally.
Ron did alright with it
I'm not its biggest fan but think it can be beneficial when you've got poor defenders like we have. Good to be versatile anyway imo.
It's just a personal preference and I think the game has moved on.
Our defence is:
Against the top ranked side in the World (and probably at least second best behind France in reality).
We constantly got picked off in gaps between the wing backs and centre backs then, it makes me twitch seeing it now. Think you have to be very good to pull it off.
****ing stupid skate ****.
He was only born in Portsmouth.
I would say that England are missing Danny Ings more than Saints did in our last game.
Don't rate Mount in the slightest.
Nor me, but he did leave Portsmouth at the age of 6 to be fair.
He's very much a fan though iirc.
Though my not rating him is nothing to do with that, just don't think he's very good.
Just seen about 15 minutes. Kyle Walker touched it 4 times.
3 times he gave it straight to the nearest Belgium.
the other time he knocked it our of play because Trippier was injured.
Where is my mate Roy Keane?
Oh and Jack Grealish showing why you must give your most creative player 6 games!!’
Great cross from Walker there...
I’m not watching now, so never happened!...
... a bit like Milan.
Except that definitely did
@Archers Road @thereisonlyoneno7 @VVD to confirm.
England out of the Nations League.
Feels like a dream sometimes, but the Estadio Meazza fridge magnet in my mum and dad’s kitchen says otherwise.
Read somewhere recently that there’s talk of demolishing it?
Not a bad England performance except for the final ball.
