    That's always been a bone of contention and even Sir Geoff admits that he only got his chance because Greavsie was injured but boy did he take it!

    Greavsie was desperately unlucky to get injured when he did. I, like most England fans, was heartbroken at the time and couldn’t see how we were going to replace his goals. Ramsey’s Wingless Wonders, notably Hunt, Charlton, Peters, and Hurst, sure stepped up!

    I'd say the greater fitness of the professional players should tell in the second half but in all honesty if Sholing hold them to a 2 goal loss it would be a great effort.
