Bit of a 'meh' tie, but can't complain. I wouldn't be too surprised if it's similar to Norwich last year: two second string sides, putting on fairly awful quality of football, with us progressing after a replay.
Be interesting to see what Sussex Police say about ko time for that game after all the trouble last week. Some Brighton fans were calling for the bubble the next day.
Supposedly a great away day though and haven't been before so am going to try and get up there. Could have been a lot worse.
I said in the lead up to that match that I thought it was silly having it midweek when they haven't played for four years. Does anyone think Hampshire would allow that next time we play Pompey? Though saying that, it wouldn't matter now I suspect with the bubble.
That's how bad/forgettable the Norwich games were. Harry Lewis messed up and gave away a late penalty to Jerome, I think. Or something like that. Can't for the life of me remember how the replay went, suspect Long scored, but clearly we won it because of the Arsenal thrashing that followed.
http://www.doncasterroversbelles.co.uk/news/statement_league_application.html#8lCT6ewKASQHEHuF.97 Doncaster Belles, four years after being relegated by committee, have now been denied promotion by committee. What a joke women's football is.
Apparently the offside law has been changed now. The old running off/leaving the field of play doesn't work any more.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42245074 Real Madrid send a get well letter to Sunderland player after he had an injury recurrence soon after returning from injury. Nice touch.
