It was: but TV execs thought Bruce was too gay. I'm blaming Monty Python for that one. Actually, I'll blame overly sensitive TV execs:
.... your defence is terrified, nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah, nah nah nah nah nah nah nah.......
If ever we needed proof that Football is just a cash cow , surely this proves it . http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/41014149
In theory you could say that Barcelona is right, but on the other hand didn't they get more money because he was on a longer contract. * *Any similarity to our position with VVD is purely circumstantial and is an entirely different moral issue, So there!
Are we going to have a FL trophy thread? ........Watford have put out a strong line up, which suits us just fine.
Leicester vs Sheff Utd on SS1, if anyone wants to watch Billy Sharp (and then have strange thread about how he could still do a job...)
Talking of people called Bruce, did you ever see the Epic Rap Battle of History between Bruce Jenner and Bruce Banner? Half we in they morph into Caitlyn Jenner and The Hulk. It's meant to be some kind of celebration of LGBT+ rights (hence the rainbow at the end) but the way it's portrayed is... actually kind of offensive to transgender people. Especially the way Bruce morphs into Caitlyn, like some kind of magical costume change or something. Not only that, but the fact that they give 90% of the lyrics to Caitlyn and barely any to The Hulk (I know he's not the most articulate person ever) just seems a bit patronising. Like "Oh yeah because she's transgender she has to have all the lyrics and clearly win because she's transgender". Judge for yourself
Bristol City beat Watford tonight, and that was about 80% of the team we'll see on Saturday. Happy with that.
Rooney retires from International football. Don't blame him...he has given good service over the years and it would be embarrassing to have his inclusion/exclusion discussed before every international game.
