Will a woman ever race in the men's 100m at the Olympics? Probably not, but that takes nothing away from female sprinting.
I disagree with that. The women go hard. The difference is men are bigger, stronger and faster. But that's it.
Not what I'm talking about. "To be physical", means using your body to gain an advantage. The women do that just as much as the men. Not all men's players are 6"2. Look at Messi.
I was on about physical attributes. If a man went shoulder to shoulder with a woman most of the time the man would win as men are typically bigger and stronger.
Your own words would suggest it isn't impossible. Of course if it was 11v11 the men would win. But certainly an individual female could mix it with the men potentially.
Ah but... People always told me be careful of what you do And don't go around breaking young girls' hearts And mother always told me be careful of who you love And be careful of what you do 'cause the lie becomes the truth Billie Jean is not my lover She's just a girl who claims that I am the one But the kid is not my son She says I am the one, but the kid is not my son
Maybe you people are forgetting that there is a transgender case [Caster Semenya] going on at this very moment, where the woman has been a man for very much most of her life, and still has elevated levels of testosterone. She beats other athletes rather easily. Putting aside the controversial nature of this, she is possibly proof that men are more physically equipped in certain areas of sport https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/athletics/48603383
Sorry, just to clarify, Semenya is not transgender. She has always been a woman. She has elevated testosterone levels yes, and that is the point of contention for many athletes and the IAAF. She has not though “been a man for most of her life”. I understand the point you are trying to make, but to refer to her as being transgender is inaccurate.
Oops, I thought she was. Apologies for screwing up the details. I'll go and find out how I managed to get myself confused. EDIT: OK, I've obviously taken truth from dubious sources. I understand that she was born with XY chromosomes. It seems to me that the debate is about whether she is a woman or man. It might just appear that she is neither.
Entirely understandable. There is a lot of misinformation out there and it does appear as if she is being used by less than reputable outlets to further other agendas.
Not all of us. Sky is beyond my means and now the Government know how much I have in my post office account it looks as if I will have to kiss goodbye to my free TV licence as well.
Liverpool and United decide to enter youth sides in the EFL trophy. Guess it's not going anywhere anytime soon then as that's the whole top 6 in it now. @PompeyLapras
