Good Morning Fats!!!! I feel that the PL teams, a team or two from Germany and Ajax Will be the dominant forces over the next cycle. I read that Barca want to sign Griezemann and re-sign Neymar. That is not going to solve their problems which are the defence and the midfield which is lacking both pace and the subtlety it had in the golden era of Iniesta and Xavi. Perhaps there is a team in the PL which makes football a game of art and beauty in the style of the great European Champions. It is time for Manchester City to step up to the plate. PS: I hope City retain their title next season and go on and win the CL!!
Finals rarely are anything but cagey affairs. The travesty of a penalty after 23 seconds ensured the game would be devoid of entertainment as Spurs probed while Liverpool tried to counter content they were winning.
In Liverpool´s defence, it was a game played on a warm evening in a city at around 900m, or 3000 feet above sea level, so you cannot expect a team to launch an aggressive attacking game all night in that environment.
Anyone with twitter, head to Chris Zebroski's account for an amusing read. His wife has logged into his account and found out he is cheating
New Zealand under20's lost on a penalty shootout to colombia today. Total bullshit decision by the VAR referee to give colombia a re-take after NZ keeper saved three penalties. Apparently he came off his line, to me thats a crazy call as he barely moved, guessed correctly and saved brilliantly. https://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/footb...zealand-suffer-heartbreaking-loss-to-colombia
Reyes who tragically died in a car crash on Saturday, was found to have been driving at over 135mph...... Why so fast? and his cousin died as well https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48513130
People will do these things. There can be a sense of invulnerability in a car until you hit something. Then you're not so sure if you're still around to have the thought.
Another cousin was also seriously burned...must be upsetting to see your loved ones pushed aside because they died or were injured in an accident involving a famous person. Must be especially upsetting when in the same family....be like your loss is somehow lesser.
15,000 England fans have tickets for the match tomorrow meaning they will outnumber the Dutch fans. Hope they all have a good trouble free time.
Ozil has agreed to pay for operations for 1000 children in developing countries with debilitating or disfiguring diseases. Well done.
Blimey. I just watched 45 mins of football, and not once did a player dive to the ground and roll around like a fairy, trying to win a free kick. #womensworldcup
