So I read our attendance in today's FL Trophy (formerly Johnstone's Paint Trophy) against Fulham is over 1500. WTAF? 1500 people apparently are content for Portsmouth to just be relegated to nothing more than training opposition for Fulham's kids. I am so ****ing livid right now. And because our attendance is slightly higher than it was last year, that prat Harvey will see it as some kind of success.

Just watching Goal Rush on 5, and Colin Murray has just related a tale of a Walsall fan who booked a cheap hotel only 11 miles from Portsmouth. Yes, you guessed it, it was on the Isle of Wight...
Walsall have paid some of his costs for him....I suppose because it gave them a laugh.
How he must wish he never left the BBC or MOTD2.
To be fair, it's a reasonably cheap return ferry fare, so nobody was going to be desperately out of pocket.
He was taken off it and replaced. Personally, I thought he was great, because he woke the pundits up. But plenty too many people like their football comment boring and traditional. Apparently.
I think he did it twice...dropped his luggage off before going to the match and then had to do the return to spend the night. And crossing the Solent is the dearest trip per mile in the country...if only we were Scottish we'd get it subsidised or free. #notbitteratall
Oh, he was a bit unnecessary with it then. Mind you, if he had explored the island all weekend it might have been worth it.
You would know this better than I... Which is the most expensive.? Ryde/Pompey or Cowes/Southampton or Yarmouth/Lymington.
If bringing a car, Red Jet is cheaper than Wightlink, so Southampton route is the best. The Ryde route is cheaper for passengers than the Southampton route. Sadly for me I have never driven in Southampton so prefer the Portsmouth route...a period return with a car is £90-110 on Wightlink....I think it is dearer coming from the Mainland as Islanders get some reduction.
I have a sneaking suspicion that Lymington/Yarmouth may be the bargain trip. Then again, it has been several years since I went that way. Of course, this is only feasible if you are centrally placed, that is, in Southampton. And this has nothing to do with getting to and from football.
The Lymington ferry is the prettiest trip and finishes in the New Forest area...what is not to like. And at this end, Yarmouth is my favourite town....so a nice day out whichever way you go.
That's a shame (and I didn't write that in blue)
Pomps won't make old age if he keeps getting wound up like that.
I guess our kids aren't playing in the FL Trophy this year?
Yes, they are. Playing Peterborough on 29/8.
I bet you don't know what size my feet are!
I'm just glad I'm not Bruce Banner.
Messi has hit the post a million times in this game tonight.
